Welcome to Sunshine Daydream Chicago. Some folks call us a record store, others a  hippie general store, and still others think of  us as a psychedelic shopping boutique. I guess you could say that we are a little bit of all 3 and more. Our hippie headquarters and retail store are located in Mt. Prospect, IL, about 30 minutes NW of downtown Chicago.

We carry new and used CD's by your favorite  jamband artists (Grateful Dead, Phish, String Cheese, Umphrey's McGee, just to name a few). We also have a pretty decent reggae selection too. Music DVD's?, we've got them. You'll also find we are starting to add more and more records for all you vinyl hounds. We stock over 500 different patches & stickers, have hemp jewelry and glass beads  made by some local pholks. If your looking for the newest tour shirt or a phunky lot style t, or even some tie dye for you, your baby, or even grandma, you'll find 100's of T-shirts to choose from at Sunshine Daydream. Don't forget to stock up on some Nag Champa incense too.
